Christine has been with Jeffrey Charles & Associates since 1993. She has over 25 years experience in cooperative housing and Community Association Management. She was among the first group of Managers to obtain the RCM 'Registered Cooperative Manager ' designation through the National Association of Cooperatives.


Caren van Wyk- Controller and Vice-President

Caren is the Vice President, Controller and co-owner of Jeffrey Charles & Associates. She joined the company in 2003 and oversees the Accounting and Administrative operations, managing a staff of six. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. After graduation, she worked as an internal auditor at Prudential Insurance and PNC Bank. In 1993, she relocated to Northern Virginia and was employed at Sterling Software as a Senior Accountant. In 1998, she joined the start-up company, Para-Protect Services as the Director of Accounting, and worked there until the company closed in 2002.

Cathy has a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University. She has been a portfolio manager with Jeffrey Charles for 5 years and was formerly Board President of the Runnymeade homeowner association.

Janet Miller - Property Manager and Facilites Coordinator

Janet has over 25 years experience in accounting and contracts. She has been responsible for the financial and cost reporting for multi-million dollar construction projects.  Janet joined Jeffrey Charles in March 2011. Janet is currently a Property Manager for Single Family Units and HOA Communities. In addition, Janet is responsible for the financials and coordination of Facilities Maintenance. She also prepares Resale Disclosure Documents for property sales.

Laura Nuss- Property Manager

Laura returned to Jeffrey Charles and Associates in April 2012 as a Property Manager. In 2003 she worked with Jeffrey Charles and Associates as an Administrative Assistant with training later became an Assistant Property Manager, with 5 years experience. Since her return Laura is now managing several properties, has completed the Property Managers M-100 Course and is currently continuing her education to obtain her PCAM License. 

Sarinda Ly- Property Manager

Sarinda Ly holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics. She joined Jeffrey Charles & Associates in 2011. Prior to 2011, she managed her own business of 7 employees for three years with a sales averaging up to $800,000.00 per year. Prior to that, she was a realtor. Combining her business and housing experiences, she is looking forward to manage more properties at Jeffrey Charles & Associates.

Natasha Minocha- Accountant

Natasha joined Jeffrey Charles & Associates as an Accountant in November 2008. She  previously served as an AR Systems Support Administrator at Sunrise Senior Living International Headquarters. Graduated with Bachelors of Science in Accounting from George Mason University in 2010 and aspires to continue her education in pursuit of obtaining her CPA designation.

Alhassane Wann- Accountant

Alhassane joined Jeffrey Charles & Associates as a Staff Accountant in February 2007. Since joining the company, he has served as lead accounting contact for 31 properties. He was previously employed by Strayer University Corporate Office as a loan administrator in the financial aide department. Mr. Wann holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Strayer University and is currently working on his thesis to complete his Masters Degree in Business Administration.

Laura joined Jeffrey Charles in January 2012 and has been in the accounting field for 21 years. She is currently the account payable manager and assists the property managers with admin duties.
